| Abrazos Adventure, the horse connection, encourages horseback riding and lessons to be a family affair - good for both adults and children. Wendy Toombs does not have staff so she teaches the attending family members to assist children as needed - parents stay for the lesson. They are either on the outside of the arena cheering on their person or actually helping where needed if not riding with the young person. Remember, Portales is within easy driving distance of Clovis, Cannon AFB and other outlying communities in eastern New Mexico making this recreation spot easy to find. |
