After the child is on the horse, unless your child needs you to walk
with him or keep eyes on her, you are free to move to the
bleachers.
What to do?
Some folks visit with each other.
Some watch the child ride.
Some visit with me asking questions and sharing information I find
useful regarding their child.
Some just sit and let the quiet wrap them in its arms. They find that
they now have permission to do 'nothing' for a short period of time
and it really is okay. Many leave here emotionally and energy
renewed.
Once in a while, they stay and let the kid help feed while we talk
and watch the sun set and listen to horses chew their feed.
